My Name is Bobby Sephton, I'm an artist, illustrator and muralist living and painting in Brockenhurst in the heart of the inspirational New Forest, UK.
I spent many years as a textile designer in Manchester and London: working on such projects as designing record sleeves for Sony Records, painting backdrops for Ronnie Scott's and various projects for textile design houses around the world.
My move to the New Forest, ten years ago took me in a new direction. I continue to be amazed by the animals that meander through our daily lives. I give each cow painting a contemporary feel, experimenting with bold colours, pattern and textured grounds whilst capturing their unique characteristics. As well as traditional canvas, I also work on New Forest woods such as Monterey pine, Macrocarpa and Oak using the beautiful natural grain as an interesting ground in itself.
Over the last few years I've begun to apply the same approach to the dog and pet portraiture that I'm now really busy with and absolutely love (especially since I became a dog owner myself: a little Maltese called Woody)!
I also take commissions for murals: either small scale such as a child's bedroom or nursery or larger such as school halls, playgrounds and libraries.
If you would like to discuss a project or have a question please drop me an email on firstname.lastname@example.org I'd love to hear from you.
